Soft skills training is in high demand – and a recent survey conducted by Wonderlic as part of the National Soft Skills Consortium confirms this. Out of the 750 employers surveyed, 97 percent agreed that soft skills impact job performance, but a dismal 31 percent were satisfied with their employees’ soft skills. To address this, a soft skills training boot camp that will focus on the most in-demand skills for entry-level applicants is in development through a committee composed of employers and hiring managers, post-secondary educators, and organizations and nonprofits that serve higher education.
