What will education look like in 2020? Fast Company asked some of the most innovative companies in education to share their thoughts. There were five big takeaways, but our favorite came from General Assembly's CEO, Jake Schwartz. "Online is not a cure-all for education issues in this country, but it can help provide greater access to new skills training." Schwartz continued, "[t]his is powerful when combined with curricula and programming created and led by practitioner educators. The human factor is always important." In other words, education technology is only as good as the teacher behind the scenes.
