The 2025 Fosway 9-Grid™ for Talent & People Success report sets a clear agenda for HR and L&D leaders: strategic workforce upskilling and cost-reduction mandates are reshaping expectations for learning, employee experience, skills, and analytics. As economic pressure drives consolidation and integration, platforms like Bridge LMS are uniquely positioned to meet rising expectations by uniting learning, skills, engagement, performance, and analytics—empowering you to build a smarter, more adaptable workforce.

Building a Skills-Based Organization

Fosway’s report highlights that 87.5% of HR pros and leaders feel that being a skills-based organization is a critical part of their HR agenda. Without a strategic, standardized approach, organizations risk losing their competitive edge and creating poor employee experiences.

How Bridge Delivers:

    • Skill Mapping: Skills are automatically mapped to learning modules and career paths, and informed by up-to-date labor market data from Lightcast.
    • Content for Rapid Upskilling: Bridge Talent Suite gives you access to 150 embedded courses from Skillsoft so your teams can access the learning content they need to improve from day one.
    • Skill-Based Learning Pathways: AI-driven content recommendations make it easy for individuals to take the reins of their own career development.
    • Easy Feedback Collection: With stop-start-continue, peer, and manager feedback all integrated on one seamless platform, you can easily keep upskilling initiatives on track.
I cannot say enough positive things about Bridge. We've reduced our tech stack by three products, with a fourth on the way. The subaccount feature allows us to cater to multiple audiences while fostering growth and development. It’s incredibly user-friendly; I don’t need to teach users how to navigate it—I simply invite them, and they're off and running.

Relying on Unified, Actionable Learning Analytics

Fosway notes a trend toward “holistic insights across the entire employee and workforce lifecycle.” At the heart is a shift to performance and value-centered HR, and the need for HR teams to articulate their impact and value as much as their efficiency.

Bridge LMS breaks down data silos and helps teams prove the value of their initiatives with unbeatable learner analytics and easy reporting on compliance and ROI.

How Bridge Delivers:

  • Powerful Data Insights on Every Employee: Course engagement, completion metrics, and skills feedback are all available—making it easy to see how individual upskilling journeys are progressing.
  • Easy, Customizable Reporting: Reports on course completion rates, learner progress, assessment scores, user activity, attendance, and training hours are all available from day one. You’re not limited to these options and can take advantage of over 22 filters to align training reports with your exact requirements.
  • Insights for Managers: Managers can easily see how to keep upskilling journeys on track based on every employee’s individual progress.

Offering Hyper-Personalized Employee Learning Experiences

According to Fosway, “today’s employees expect experiences that are tuned to their preferences, ambitions, and working habits.” A one-size-fits-all workplace experience is no longer enough to keep companies competitive and to cut attrition.

You need a learning platform that helps employees feel that their individual career goals are a priority, so that they’re motivated to continuously upskill and drive business targets forward.

How Bridge Delivers:

  • Custom content and skill pathways mean learning always feels relevant.
  • Learning reminders and seamless mobile learning (even without internet!) increase adoption and allow employees to learn when and how it suits them.
  • Automatic mentorship recommendations from skills communities help learners connect with colleagues on an authentic level, fostering peer-to-peer upskilling.

Avoiding Manager Overwhelm

Fosway warns that the explosion of AI tools—without orchestration—risks overwhelming managers and employees. Simple, easy-to-use tools and seamless integration are more important than ever.

How Bridge Delivers:

  • Bridge seamlessly integrates with a variety of HRIS and workflow tools. This means fewer clicks and screens, and more time for managers to work strategically.
  • Bridge couldn’t be easier for both managers and learners to use, so say goodbye to manager frustrations and endless roadblocks.
What I like about Bridge is the many courses and trainings that are available and the ease of use. It’s easy to connect all the training courses to my objective plan and my growth plan. It really helps me focus on what I want to learn and how I can develop without having to search for it myself.
