What Happens After You Purchase Bridge?
Once you choose Bridge, you won't be left to figure implementation out on your own. Every customer is paired with a dedicated Onboarding Manager who guides you through our five-stage implementation process IDEAL (Initiate, Design, Execute, Adopt, and Launch). From integrating your tech stack and setting up automated user provisioning to training administrators and planning your launch, we partner with your team every step of the way to help you go live with confidence.
IDEAL Implementation Process Process:
Step 1) Initiate: Project Kickoff & Goal Alignment
After the sales handoff, you'll meet your dedicated onboarding expert for a kickoff call. This is where we get to know your team, your goals, and what success looks like. We'll talk through your unique use cases, answer your questions, and build a plan that fits your timeline.
Once we understand your goals, we'll build a detailed implementation plan that keeps everyone aligned. You'll know what we're working on each week, what's expected from your team, who's responsible for each task, and the key milestones we'll be working toward together.
Step 2) Design: Technical Integration & Configuration
After we've built the plan, we'll configure Bridge based on your business needs. Whether you're replacing an existing LMS, integrating with your HRIS and other business systems, or starting from scratch, we'll tailor the implementation to fit your environment. If you're looking to automate user management and provisioning, we'll help you connect Bridge to your system of record so learner data stays up to date with minimal manual effort. We'll also help you customize the platform to match your brand.
If your implementation includes integrations or other technical requirements, one of our Technical Consultants will partner directly with your team. They'll provide guidance, answer questions, and help ensure everything is configured correctly before you go live, including:
- Manual or auto-provisioning of users
- Single sign-on and authentication
- Data migration from your existing platform (if applicable)
- External platform integrations
Step 3) Execute: Content & Communication Setup
As we get closer to go-live, we'll work with you to organize your content, create a learning experience that's easy to navigate, and build a rollout plan that gets your people using Bridge.
If you're migrating content from an existing LMS or creating new content in Bridge, we'll help you think through how to organize it using tags, categories, skills, and user groups. Taking the time to structure your content upfront makes it easier for learners to find the right training, enroll in relevant learning paths, and get value right away.
We'll also partner with you on your communication strategy. A thoughtful rollout helps employees understand not only how to use Bridge, but why it matters. Your Onboarding Manager will share proven best practices, rollout resources, and recommendations. This phase is all about helping you build excitement, communicate changes clearly, and drive adoption across your organization.
Your Onboarding Manager can provide guidance and resources for areas such as:
- Your initial launch information
- The stakeholders who’ll communicate and champion your strategy
- Internal communication channels
- Employee training and post-launch
- Gathering employee feedback post-launch
Step 4) Adopt: Admin Training & System Testing
Before you launch Bridge to your learners, we'll work with you to make sure everything has been thoroughly tested and is ready to go. Together, we'll validate your configuration, integrations, user provisioning, and key workflows so you can launch with confidence.
We'll also make sure the people who will be managing Bridge after launch are ready to succeed. That includes training administrators, content authors, managers, and anyone else with responsibilities beyond the learner experience. By the time you go live, your team will have the knowledge and resources they need to support learners from day one.
Step 5) Launch: System Go-Live & Post-Launch Support
During your first two weeks after launch, your dedicated Customer Success Manager will stay closely involved to answer questions, help troubleshoot any challenges, and make sure your team feels confident using Bridge.
Once your implementation is complete, you'll transition to our broader Customer Success team for ongoing support and strategic guidance. Whether you have a quick question, want to learn about new features, or are planning your next initiative, we're here to help. You'll have access to 24/7 support by phone, email, and live chat, daily office hours, and monthly product education sessions to help you continue getting the most out of Bridge as your learning program grows.
- Bridge workshops and product roadmap webinars
- Office hours—an informal session to get answers to any questions
- On-demand resources, videos, and Bridge knowledge base
- 24/7, 365-day customer service via phone, email, and live chat
Implementation Is Just the Beginning
Choosing a learning management system is an important decision, but choosing the right implementation partner is what sets you up for long-term success. At Bridge, we're committed to being more than a software provider, we're an extension of your team. From kickoff through launch and beyond, we'll guide you through every milestone, share the best practices we've learned from hundreds of implementations, and help you build a learning program that delivers lasting impact.
A Bridge customer that recently came out of implementation shared, "Taylor and Nick were both fantastic through the process. Every conversation, email exchange, troubleshooting case—every step of the way, we felt validated in our partnership with Bridge." Our goal isn't just to get you live; it's to make sure your team feels supported, your learners are engaged, and you're set up for success long after implementation is complete.
