How GA Telesis Is Achieving a 98% Course Completion Rate With Bridge Analytics

With one of the world’s largest inventories of commercial aircraft parts and services, GA Telesis provides component sales and full maintenance and overhaul services to all major aircraft manufacturers. The company operates a global network across 30 countries and six continents.

The Challenge

Rapid Growth, Small L&D Team, and Limited Manager Visibility Into Training

GA Telesis’ maintenance, repair, and overhaul facility in Helsinki, Finland, focuses heavily on aircraft engine repairs, servicing, and field maintenance. The company underwent rapid growth, expanding from approximately 80 employees to over 300, while the L&D team remains a two-person function.

Daria Zaikovskaia, Training and Development Lead, explains that amid this growth, keeping all the organisation’s managers and supervisors informed about training progress for their direct reports was a challenge.

“We grew so fast that it was hard for us to adapt to the growing numbers. And the big challenge that we faced was keeping our managers and supervisors updated about what was happening within their teams: how well things were going, how badly things were going, even what people were doing with training,” Daria says.

Daria expands on these challenges, stating that employees self-enrolling in live training sessions often led to scheduling conflicts because managers had little visibility.

Managers only received a weekly digest once a week that gave them an idea about what the week ahead would look like. I wanted them to know more, which led me to do it manually. It just didn't work. It strained the team writing emails and checking the enrolments from scratch every time.
- Daria Zaikovskaia, Learning and Development Lead

Since most of the workforce is on the production floor and has limited access to mobile devices or computers, they would often miss training deadlines.

“There were problems with miscommunication. Employees would register for and attend live training without their managers knowing they wouldn't be available for work that day. The same goes for courses. Mechanics and inspectors don't have a phone or a tablet or a computer available to them, so they would just disconnect and forget about the training, and that would lead to missed deadlines.”
- Daria Zaikovskaia, Learning and Development Lead

The team needed a low-touch solution that would free up their time and give managers greater insight into their direct reports, allowing them to see upcoming live training and receive timely notifications for mandatory training deadlines.

The Solution

Automated Notifications and Dashboards With Bridge Analytics

For Daria, the solution was analytics and dashboards in Bridge. By combining her strong technical skills with the configurability offered in Bridge Analytics, she built a series of custom dashboards.

These dashboards allow her team to quickly and easily see data that would otherwise take time to compile, such as the number of learners and recent learning items.

Daria’s work also eliminates admin time spent on everyday tasks. By writing a custom script, Daria has created further efficiencies when exporting and formatting transcripts.

One of the most significant benefits is providing managers with much-needed information. Daria explains that she created a custom dashboard with a rolling seven-day view for each manager, allowing them to see all enrolments among teams and how each learner is progressing.

These dashboards are helping to drive employee completions by equipping managers with timely information. When a learner approaches a due date or has an overdue learning item, a daily email notification is automatically sent to the manager. Each alert provides crucial information, such as the learner's name and course title, enabling them to take action.

“When the count of unique users is more than zero, there’s an email coming to our manager’s email address every day because until it's completed, I want them to know about it,” explains Daria.

Daria has found a solution to address the lack of visibility into live training, too. A custom live training visualisation and a scheduled weekly alert tell managers which team members plan to attend live training sessions next week. They also receive an email alert when a direct report registers for a session.

Communication was a key part of the strategy to ensure that managers were clear about their responsibilities and their role in supporting course completion rates.

“I did my best to meet with every single [manager] and communicate what’s happening, what they're going to receive, and not to be scared by the emails.”
- Daria Zaikovskaia, Learning and Development Lead

The Results

Managers Are Driving Course Completion Rates

Creating manager dashboards in Bridge has improved employee completion rates. Daria shares that at the start of 2025, the L&D team recorded just 89% of learners completing one mandatory quarterly training programme on time. At the end of the year, when these notifications were delivered consistently to managers, that figure increased to 95%.

As of 2026, over 98% of all learners are completing courses on time—an increase of 1.25 times.

“Last year, we had about 10% of people late for training. Then we started to manually remind them about training. In the fourth quarter, that’s when my notifications started working. If we compare this year, we only have two percent of our workforce overdue.”
- Daria Zaikovskaia, Learning and Development Lead

Daria attributes this success to the dashboards she’s built in Bridge, which turn managers into key drivers of employee learning.

“We’re getting better with more notifications. It’s not 100%, because people can still miss things, but it does help our managers have more control over what’s happening within their team as far as training is concerned,” she concludes.
